USA Prime Shelby-2026-2027 Season!
It is with great excitement and profoundness that I announce PKP’s PARTNERSHIP with USA Prime Shelby. All of our great coaches, trainers and systems will remain the same – but now enhanced with upgraded facilities, additional baseball minds/trainers, development systems, national backing, etc. Here are the key takeaways and advantages of this new journey!
- OUR OWN FACILITY in 2026/2027! No more wondering or waiting for our own facility! 2SP will be home to USA Prime – Shelby which is US! This is for OUR programs. No more sharing spaces with the Metro Stars or other organizations – this will be baseball exclusive to USA Prime/PKP, and will be the most elite facility in Macomb County, for OUR program. It is a ONE STOP shop (turf, cages, weight room, technology etc) – not multiple smaller facilities like other programs offer
- $100,000 in FACILITY improvements being done this summer! In taking over the entire facility we are also making extensive improvements! This includes relocating areas, adding cages, adding a pitching area with radar guns, relocating the 2sp weight room, etc
- Just like PKP which was established 15 years ago with long term stability, this is a long term partnership as part of our agreement, for 5, 10, 15+ years
- Equipment Additions!! We will have a Trackman, Hittrax, Rapsodo, Pitching Auto Radars, Multiple Hack Attack machines! No one else will have this level of technology!!
- INCREDIBLE STAFF on SITE, all as ONE with common goals – not a collaboration from afar and in competition with one another!
- Similar structure with regards to offseason training, development – more turf time and practices!
- 24/7 access facility
- Greg Fettes – University of Kentucky – USA Prime – Shelby Director overseeing all of our daily operations who will be ON SITE!
- Carter Scillion – Rochester College – our current PKP GM, who will be the USA Prime- Shelby GM working alongside Greg
- Nick Swanson (Michigan Director), Pat Kenny (Michigan/Florida Director), Eric Shutter (lead trainer) and all the familiar faces you’ve known working for the program! 3PD and 2SP will also be baseball development partners for baseball specific training and speed/agility/strength!
- The current and next generation of younger baseball coaches/trainers who are highly respected in the community, with extensive backgrounds paving the way for the game today
- We will have all the same staff and familiar faces ensuring we operate at the highest level, while adding great baseball trainers and support staff who will be on site daily, with a VESTED interest in OUR program
- Sponsored by Adidas and Luccini with an extensive apparel and jersey package included in the fee
- National network for our high school aged players and the recruiting process
